Adelphi's chemistry program is approved by the American Chemical Society. With an introduction to basic concepts leading to study of the different branches of chemistry and lab experiences, students will have the competency to understand and analyze the most difficult concepts. The program prepares students for graduate work in chemistry, biochemistry, forensics, pharmacy and chemical engineering, or professional schools of medicine and dentistry.
Students can conduct research on the University’s new Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectrometer, or collaborate on a research project with a faculty mentor/adviser and present their findings at Adelphi’s Annual Research Conference.
