Anthropology is the study of human beings from their biological origins to their learned cultures and behaviors. Adelphi’s anthropology program focuses on practical experience in research, written and oral communication, and analytical thinking skills, as well as on providing an appreciation for the complexity of human experience through time. They strive to produce graduates who understand the pressing issues that face our global community.Our anthropology faculty have an international reputation for scholarship, as evidenced by the research published, awards granted and fellowships earned by department members.
